Dr. Wayne Rechlo, D.C.

Dr. Wayne Rechlo is originally from Northern Alberta and has returned home to serve Grande Prairie and surrounding area residents. After attending Grande Prairie Regional College and the University of Alberta, Dr. Rechlo completed his Doctoral Degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2007. Since then, he has returned to Alberta and practiced as a Chiropractor in High Level and La Crete, Alberta before moving back toGrande Prairie.

Dr. Rechlo Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer and strives to bring the best combination of practitioners together to help people live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives. Dr. Rechlo believes that a strong and healthy body can allow people to function and perform at the very highest ability, not only in athletics, but in every day life.

Dr. Sara Brutsche, BA, D.C.

Dr. Sara Brutsche hails from the United States, moving to Canada in 2010. She pursued her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 2017. She is certified to practice in both countries and enjoys helping people achieve their healthcare goals through natural methods.

Dr. Brutsche has additional training in Activator Technique (instrument adjusting), Thompson Technique (drop table), and advanced soft tissue techniques. She is primarily focused in proper nutrition, exercise, and healthy living to maximize her patients' potentials.

Dr. Brutsche enjoys skiing, reading, and baking in her spare time. She intends to provide the best Chiropractric care possible to the Grande Prairie area.

Dr. Patricia Andreiuk, B.Sc, D.C.

Dr. Patricia Andreiuk was born and raised in the Peace Region and is looking forward to serving the people of Grande Prairie. She achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Alberta and graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2019.

Dr. Andreiuk utilizes a variety of techniques from Diversified, Thompson Drop Table, Activator, SOT, and myofascial release and Graston. She also has additional training in animal chiropractic.

Dr. Andreiuk enjoys baking, gardening, and horseback riding. She also enjoys camping, playing cards, fishing, and other outdoor activities with her family and friends.

Dr. Thomas Klaus, D.C.

Dr. Thomas Klaus is from the United States and moved to Grande Prairie in early 2020. Dr. Klaus pursued a dual major in Biology and Chemistry at Kennesaw State University before graduating Magna Cum Laude from Life University in June of 2020.

Dr. Klaus and his wife have two children, Eva and Oliver, with whom they love spending their time. They enjoy the park, swimming, and camping. These activities keep his family very active; Dr. Klaus works to help others in the community be able to enjoy activities with their families and friends as well.

Dr. Klaus believes in the power of the human body to heal itself with the help of proper exercise, nutrition, and chiropractic treatment. In order to do this, Dr. Klaus utilizes various techniques: Diversified, Thompson Drop Table, Activator (Instrument), and soft tissue techniques.

Dr. Kelsey Bauman, D.C.

Dr. Kelsey Bauman is born and raised in Grande Prairie and grew up playing minor hockey in town throughout his entire childhood. After graduating high school, he enrolled at the Grande Prairie Regional College (Northwestern Polytechnic) in the bachelor of kinesiology program with a major in high performance training and then finished the last two years of the program at the University of Alberta.

After completing his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Bauman moved to Toronto and attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he obtained his doctorate degree in chiropractic and graduated summa cum laude in June 2023.

Dr. Bauman uses a diversified evidence-based approach throughout his treatment that includes manual adjusting, Thompson technique, activator, myofascial release technique, instrumented assisted soft tissue therapy, and acupuncture. He is currently the official chiropractor of the Grande Prairie Storm. His main goal is to optimize patients function in order to minimize pain and improve quality of life.

Dr. Bauman and his wife have a cavapoo dog named Nelly who steals majority of their attention. They also enjoy going rollerblading, camping, playing hockey and spending time with their friends and family in Grande Prairie.

Massage Therapists

Carrie Nile, RMT

Carrie is a 2000 graduate from Calgary's Mount Royal College and a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). She is certified in relaxation and therapeutic massage including: pre & post natal massage, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, and myofascial release, myofascial cupping, and RAPID tx.

Carrie is responsive and conscientious to her client's needs providing focused treatments to help reduce stress, relieve pain, rehabilitate injuries, and increase overall quality of life.

Originally from Rocky Mountain House, Carrie relocated to Grande Prairie in 2010 with her husband and two children. She looks forward to helping you restore and maintain a healthy body!

Gwen O'Hagan, RMT

Gwen completed 2200 hours of massage education at Alberta Massage Training in 2011 and continues adding to her knowledge base. She enjoys applying that training whether it is through relaxation massage, injury recovery, whiplash treatment, anxiety and stress reduction, manual lymph drainage or non specific aches and pains.

Gwen's desire is to use her skills in a variety of therapeutic and relaxation techniques to achieve the best possible result for each individual client. She is a member in good standing with the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Association (CMMOTA).

Gwen and her husband moved to Grande Prairie from central Alberta in 2018. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, quilting, weaving, walking her hounds, trail riding and packing her horses in the mountains.

Faye Parenteau, RMT

Alberta-born and raised, Faye did her massage training in 1997. After finishing her diploma course at the Orthopaedic Institute in Calgary, she moved to Grande Prairie.

Over the years her continuing education has included different types of Myofascial release, nerve release, hot stone, and cupping. As a certified aromatherapist she is able to formulate custom massage oil blends, and maintains memberships with the MTAA, NHPC, and CAOA

With the majority of her career having been focused on treating chronic pain, Faye approaches treatment with the goal of reducing pain and increasing function, using range of motion and strength testing to pinpoint problem areas.

In her personal time Faye can be found in the kitchen, testing new creations to share with her family and friends. She also enjoys sewing, beadwork, and hiking.
